psych-facts:

There are so many positives of breathing. Breathing detoxifies and releases toxins by exhaling oxygen from your body that has been converted to carbon dioxide. It releases mental tension by allowing more oxygen to flow into the body. It also relaxes the mind and body and increases thought clarity. For parts of the body that feels tense or tight, try to concentrate your breathing into those places. It also helps build the immune system by providing more oxygen that replenishes your blood. Most importantly, because it keeps you alive.

I read this and thought ‘wow that’s nice, I should reblog it’.Then I stopped, and I read it again. Word by word, thinking hard about how I can actually apply this to my life. I’ve read it about 50 times now and I still can’t get it out of my head; what if we all did this? What if we forgot about fights, sadness, arguments, anger, and embarrassment? What if we lived for the small things and forgot about everything else?Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying we should ignore important things in life or live with ‘no regrets’. All I’m saying is that it really is true; at the end of the day, all that we should really be thinking about is the little things that made us happy, even if it was for a mere second.

REBLOG EVERYTIME

this is one of my favourite quotes

this is amazing. seriously. im going to start trying to apply this to my life every single day because this is so amazing and i think we all could learn from this quote and make ourselves a happier person!

Lol too bad people don’t do those things to me.

spiritualinspiration:

“Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16, AMP)

Do the people around you see your light shining? Do they know you are a believer by your actions? Are you setting the bar in your office? Can people see your good works?

I know people who can quote half the Bible and pray two hours a day, but they have no influence or credibility because they’re sloppy in the workplace. They’re always late or wasting time. They’re not productive. They’re not efficient. No one will even listen to them.

I heard somebody say, “Your performance gives you a platform.” When you excel in what you do, that gets people’s attention. The way to gain respect, the way to gain influence is to develop your character and skills in such a way that people want what you have. They may not agree with what you believe, but when you are the best in your company, they can’t argue with that. You’ve earned their respect, not by your words, but by your spirit of excellence.

I encourage you today, don’t settle for mediocrity. You are a child of the Most High God. Make the decision today to let your light shine and bring Him glory in everything you do!
